It is believed to have originated in India and Egypt around 5 000 years ago, and according to some historical documents, it was used in China around 4 000 years ago. Scientists and doctors worldwide swear by the daily use of garlic in our diets; also, it can be used in convenient and tasty garlic oils to avoid unpleasant smells.

Garlic (Allium sativum) is an ancient spice extracted from bulbous plants. But before garlic became the staple culinary dish we know today, it had a rich history of cultivation, medicinal effects, and consumption.
